The Seaglide will no longer block your entire field of view, all tools are fully visible and the PDA is no longer stuck to your nose ). I'm posting your change list here for others to see:Īdds an option to enable VR animations under the General Tab in Options and fixes the badly positioned player model. The Seaglide blocking half my field of view is particularly maddening. Thanks! I haven't downloaded it yet, but your mods would fix all of the problems I've encountered in the couple of hours I've played so far. Jump scares and being creeped out from enemies is still way up there though, ha. I still get a split second of PTSD whenever I get into a body of water for the first time in a while but I never have such a feeling in VR as I'm so used to VR that I know whatever is happening in it isn't real. It took until I was about 24 after many attempts of friends (a few I almost ended up drowning with me from pulling them down) teaching me to swim, and until then at least get me in a pool enough times that I eventually got over it. Yeah, I know it's possible to lose the fear because I used to have a water phobia from having blackout-drowned almost a half dozen times before I was even 10 years old.īasically to describe how it felt to me in my phobia was that when inside a pool of water deep enough to not be able stand in with my neck and head above the water line it was like the entire world scaled 100x away from me (think like the city shifting/curving up in Inception) and the water below me felt like an infinite dark chasm of dark death that I was about to fall into, and I would physically tense up and freak out. Haha, totally didn't realize I dropped a pun. Remember to always hit F2 before playing when you are in your normal seated position to reset your VR position.
